CH Cattle, along with Fredin Brothers, are continuously looking for dependable backgrounders in the southwestern Virginia area. We are looking for trusting and responsible individuals that are able to take on balling calves throughout the entire year from 45-60 days depending on the group of cattle and the backgrounders preference. By doing this, it takes the risk from owning your own cattle and turns your feed into cash income. CH Cattle and Fredin Brothers are also interested in talking and working with you about grazing cattle during the summer months. We usually want these cattle to be turned out in April and grazed through September, weather permitting. We pay on the total gain the cattle put on during this period.
